depends on the model - for my own oc's i tend to use vroid for the bases and then various clothing parts put together using pmx editor.
ok ok, forgive my ignorance, but is vroid still useful for making clothes? It's just that when using the translator the message gets a little confused.

yeah, there are preset clothes in vroid and they can be edited to quite a heavy degree texture wise. i don't use them because i have many assets that are made specifically for mmd.
